Get DirectionsUse: RH17 5QT or Bolney Place (Cowfold Road) – This does not work on all SatNavs so alternatively input ‘The Street – Bolney’ – just make sure you do not turn down here.
Travelling from the Gatwick or Crawley direction, take the exit labelled Haywards Heath, Petersfield A272, when you reach the roundabout, take the third exit under the bridge and join the A272. Keep driving past Bolney nursery on the right, towards Bolney Village. You will see a turn off to Bolney village named The Street it is recognisable by signage to ‘The Eight Bells’ pub – do not take this road. Immediately after is a second turning, this is a gravel driveway with the brown wooden fence and is signposted ‘Bolney Place’. This will take you up to Bolney Place. If you see a garage on the left on the A272, you have gone too far.
From the Brighton or Worthing direction, take the exit labelled Petersfield, Haywards Heath, Cuckfield A272 Burgess Hill (A2300), this will bring you to a roundabout take the first exit. This will bring you to a T Junction – turn right towards Cowfold, this will bring you onto the A272. Keep driving towards Cowfold, very shortly you will see a turn off to Bolney village named ‘The Street’ it is recognisable by signage to ‘The Eight Bells’ pub – do not take this road. Immediately after is a second turning, this is a gravel driveway with the brown wooden fence and is signposted ‘Bolney Place’. This will take you up to Bolney Place. If you see a garage on the left on the A272, you have gone too far.
Get onto the A272 – this can easily be done by following the signs towards Petersfield. Stay on the A272 for some time once you have passed Ansty you will continue until you reach a large roundabout take the second exit – this is straight over and under a bridge the speed limit will drop to 40mph. Keep driving towards Cowfold, very shortly you will see a turn off on the right to Bolney village named The Street it is recognisable by signage to ‘The Eight Bells’ pub – do not take this road. Immediately after is a second turning on the right, this is a gravel driveway with the brown wooden fence and is signposted ‘Bolney Place’. This will take you up to Bolney Place. If you see a red garage called ‘local’ on the left on the A272, you have gone too far.
Join the A272 by following the signs to Haywards Heath – you will stay on this road for some time. You will then pass a red garage called ‘local’ on the right – it is red. Keep driving, you will come around a left bend which will then veer right again (see picture below), you will then see a turning to Bolney Village on the left – this called ‘The Street’ and is recognisable by a sign to ‘The Eight Bells’ Pub. Immediately before this turn off is a gravel driveway with brown fencing. This will take you to Bolney Place.
